The fourth semester (17.05.2008)

My fourth semester began and I am now deep in the second half of my studies. Although I will have only three exams, there will be enough to do. The biggest part takes our project over the whole semester: a semantic internet image search called "pixolu". More information will follow soon.
By the way: The new location Oberschöneweide looks really cool, but is very unsusable. No power sockets, a beamer but no room darkening, a small and expensive cafeteria... I hope this changes before I leave the university.

Over the hump (04.03.2008)

All exams are done and passed with an average of onepointsomething, and the first half of my studies is done as well, so now I want to concentrate on looking for an internship job abroad.
By the way, my next semester will be in a new location. More on that when the time has come.

New year with new content (18.01.2008)

I have to apologize, I disregarded this site the last weeks. For the studies there was much to do, my exams will begin in just two weeks, and I wrote some articles on volkersfreunde.de. But the last days I added some new links, some stuff in the studies section, and also uploaded a practicing sheet for my tutorials.

The current semester ticket will expire soon and the students of FHTW can decide in a ballot vote on the prolongation. This vote is only valid, when more than 10% of the studenst had given heir vote this week! So seize your chance and go vote: for or against the renewal of the contract with VBB. The new semester (13.10.2007)

My third semester began two weeks ago and since then I experienced a lot of new courses and lecturers. I also started a new language: in the next half year I will learn Spanish.
In the new usability course we are asked to use a lot of web 2.0 technologies, for example rss-feeds and regularly updated blogs. So I set up my own usability blog in WordPress.

New Website (28.09.2007)

I changed the design slightly and added some new pages. So there is now enough space for more links, more files, the turorials and all the things of the future.
